John Camiolo
CEO
John began his financial services career in 1986 with Dreyfus Mutual Funds. He has been recognized in the industry with numerous awards. Through the firm he founded in 1994, he has spearheaded many technological innovations that he believes have shaped the way employee benefits are communicated and maintained on a local and national level.
During his career, John has received numerous industry honors and philanthropic awards and has been selected multiple times to serve on advisory boards and committees for the nation’s largest health insurance carriers to help shape client services and product designs.
Currently, John serves on the foundation board of his alma mater, SUNY Geneseo. He is also a former board member of the Marrow Foundation and continues to advocate for patients undergoing bone marrow transplants.
Adam Camiolo
Director of Client Services, Communications
Adam is the director of client services and communications at Unified Business Strategies; his responsibilities include coordinating client consultations and outreach, as well as the implementation of new technology and procedures. He is an experienced director in office management and research with a history of leadership in client relations. He began his career at the Foreign Policy Association and has more than five years of experience in international affairs and research. Adam is skilled in developing strategic partnerships, financial analysis, writing, editing, public speaking, and has written several articles for the Foreign Policy Book Review.
Adam earned his master’s degree from Columbia University in 2018, and his BA in history from SUNY Geneseo in 2014. He lives with his wife, Morissa, in Point Lookout, New York.
Scott Margolis
Executive Vice President
As vice president of client services, Scott strives for client satisfaction and retention by helping in the process of clients pursuing their individual financial and benefits goals.
His career began in 1997 within the benefits department of New York Life. Since joining Unified Business Strategies in 1999, Scott has focused his energy on maintaining and expanding client relationships.
Scott is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo. He and his wife, Brooke, reside in Smithtown, New York.
